Fabric tests
I had a couple of my drawings printed up as fabric samples to see how they work. Bearing in mind that neither of these was designed with repeats in mind I was quite pleased with the results and very pleased with the quality of the printing, ( the Lacuna Press), and the speed. I only sent the designs off on Tuesday and go them back on Friday ! I don't know what I'm going to do with them yet, but it was good to see the potential.

Great! I need to try this soon! I am beginning to regret giving away my sewing machine!
ReplyDeleteYou really do Roberta, your latest work would look fantastic printed up. I was looking at the course you did, it looks great, I'm almost tempted to do it...maybe later in the year if it's repeated. But I only have an ancient copy of illustrator which doesn't work on the OS I have now. :-( I'm also thinking of seeing if I can find an embroidery foot for my sewing machine...but I HATE sewing so perhaps not ! :-)
DeleteThey did a great job on some lovely patterning!
